Our exhibits include Polar bear, Kodiak, Grizzly, Black, Brown and Glacier Bears; Moose, Elk, Caribou, Whitetail, Mule and Reindeer; Buffalo, Mountain Goat, Antelope, Dall, Big Horn and Stone Sheep, Loins, Tigers, Leopards, Snow Leopards and other cats. Numerous Butterflies, Beetles, Hawks, Owls and many, many more.

GIFT SHOP

In our gift shop you will find many varieties of items, from t-shirts, to coffee mugs, and toys for the kids. We also have many plush animals like the ones you will see in the museum. Take home a souvenir, there is something for everyone.
GROUP RATES

BUTTERFLY ROOM
​
In this area we have a hugh collection of bugs, beetles and butterflies from all over the world. Bring your camera and take home some memories.
MUSEUM
In this part of the museum you will take a self guided tour of our 14,000 square foot building, air conditioning included. So take your time and enjoy yourself.
FAMILY FUN
Kentucky's first and largest outstanding wildlife museum. 14,000 square foot building. See wild animals, birds, fish, and reptiles staged in their natural habitats. Over 1,600 specimens of wildlife.
ABOUT US
You don't have to travel to Africa, India, or a big city zoo to see some of the rarest animals on the face of the earth. Since 1969 the MAMMOTH CAVE WILDLIFE MUSEUM has featured some of the greatest animals ever. The museum has nearly 14,000 square feet of exhibit area containing rare and exotic animals such as tigers, lions, bears, leopards (including the Snow Leopard - one of the rarest cats in the world), deer, sheep, ox, and much more. But the museum doesn't stop at the big animals; we also have a huge selection of marine life, insects, birds, and many more creatures.
As you stroll through the exhibit you will see the animals in their natural environment. We have taken great effort to make the museum as natural as possible. This exhibit is not just the best in the area, it is by far the best in the whole Southeast. Kids love our museum because they can get much closer to the animals than they could in a zoo. So bring your camera and take some memories home!
